Our mission is to provide for the health and wellness needs of the underserved of Oakland County through the provision of comprehensive, integrated primary, behavioral health, and dental care. Position Description
The Building Maintenance Coordinator/Technician is an integral part of Honor Operations team, reporting directly to the Chief of Community Services. This role plays a crucial role in positioning our health center as a leader in progressive healthcare systems. The main objective of this position is to create an optimum environment for both our patients and staff, ensuring the delivery of exceptional and cutting-edge integrated healthcare. The Maintenance Coordinator/Technician will be responsible for overseeing facility administration and operations, maintenance, space planning, utilization, as well as project management support.What are we looking for?
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical training or certification preferred.
- At least 5 years of previous experience in general maintenance and repair work, preferably in a healthcare or medical facility.
- Basic working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC system, including operating and maintaining common hand and power tools required. Intermediate knowledge preferred.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity required.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with staff, vendors, and regulatory agencies, demonstrating a strong commitment to customer service. Strong communication skills.
- Ability to read manuals and work orders.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
