Honor Community Health is a 501c3 Federally Qualified Health Center co-located within 20 locations. Our mission is to provide for the health and wellness needs of the underserved of Oakland County through the provision of comprehensive, integrated primary, behavioral health, and dental care. We serve all populations regardless of their ability to pay. Our team is passionate about serving the people of Oakland County.

Position Description
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Senior Director of External Relations will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing Honor Community Health’s strategic initiatives related to community engagement, policy and advocacy, partnerships, communications, and fundraising. This role is vital in positioning Honor Community Health as a leader within the community and ensuring compliance with funding requirements. The Senior Director of External Relations will provide leadership and direction in key areas including stakeholder relations, event coordination, policy initiatives, and external communication strategies.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, communications, public policy, political science or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in nonprofit, health care, political, community leadership or related field required. Additional experience specifically in communications, advocacy, and/or fundraising preferred.
